Patagonia, in southern Argentina, is a distinctive winegrowing region marked by old vineyards, dry conditions, and a cool, windy climate at the edge of the World. Bodega Noemia was founded in 2001 by Noemi Marone Cinzano and Hans Vinding-Diers around an old-vine Malbec vineyard planted in 1932 next to Río Negro. The estate has become particularly associated with this historic vineyard and with a style shaped by site, vine age, and low-intervention farming.
