Chateau Trianon

Bordeaux, France

A classic Grand Cru of Saint-Emilion, at the heart of Bordeaux’s Right Bank, Chateau Trianon can trace its origin back to the sixteenth century, and derives its name from the iconic palace at Versailles. Now under the co-ownership of Dominique Hebrard, formerly of Chateau Cheval Blanc, Trianon derives its unique character from the use of small amounts of the ancient, indigenous Carmenère grape, from old vines, in the final blend. The team takes exquisite care of the vines and winemaking process, as demonstrated by the fact that all grapes on the estate are harvested by hand.
