A 4th generation family-owned, family-run, pioneering winery, Paul Cluver Wines has been farming in the Elgin Valley for more than 120 years, helping to establish it as a premium wine-growing region in South Africa. Starting with their first commercial vineyards in 1896, their wines are focused on expressing the uniqueness of the terroir, highlighting a slower process of sugar development and extended maturity, producing delicate freshness and complexity in their aromatic, flavourful wines. Their winemaking sits within their De Rust Estate where half of the estate is set aside for conservation in perpetuity, showcasing their commitment to the environment and their community.
